On our unique wine tasting tour you’ll experience wines that have undergone the maturation process at the bottom of the sea.
This extraordinary and exciting journey takes you through the landmarks of a beautiful bay, allowing you to witness the splendor of the Montenegrin coast while indulging in the sensual experience of wine tasting.
Our adventure begins in Kotor, or at a location that suits you best, from where we start our journey around the bay. The departure point can be from the dock nearest to your accommodation, ensuring maximum comfort. As we sail through the serene waters, unlimited beauty of this stunning bay will be at your disposal.
Our first destination is Dobrota, a historical refuge of the famous Kotor captains. This place radiates history and culture, which you will feel as you pass by beautiful old houses and churches. We then reach Orahovac, a small fishing village that for centuries was on the frontier with the Ottoman Empire. Here you can feel the spirit of bygone times, and the captain will tell you about the history of this place.
We continue our journey to Perast, a historic bay port and the birthplace of many famous captains. In Perast, you will have a chance to take a break, stroll around, and familiarize yourself with the landmarks of this ancient town. Across from Perast is Our Lady of the Rocks, an island created by human effort. Right next to it is the island of St. George, believed to have inspired Arnold Böcklin for his famous painting Island of the Dead.
We proceed towards Stoliv, another small fishing village, known for its authentic folk architecture. Passing by Stoliv, we will head towards the Kotor Old Town, located at the very end of the bay, at the foot of the steep slopes of Mount Lovćen. During the ride, we will pass by historical places Prčanj and Muo, where you will hear interesting stories and legends related to these places. Muo is another fishing village where fishermen still practice traditional fishing methods, and the captain will tell you about Montenegrin fishing customs and traditions.
The main part of our tour is tasting local wines that have matured at the bottom of the sea. On a suitable raft, you will enjoy locally grown food, and taste premium Montenegrin wines that have matured at the bottom of the sea, thereby gaining a special quality. This unique process gives the wines a special taste and texture that cannot be achieved on land. As you taste these unique wines, you will be able to hear stories about their origin, maturation process, and how they were found and retrieved from the sea bed.

Tours are available throughout the season, but we recommend booking in advance to secure your place on the boat and at the farm.
